Advancing Learning.

Advancing Learning (formerly This is IT!) has been the province’s premiere instructional technology conference since its inception in 1993. It has included quality keynote addresses, presentation and workshop sessions, round table discussions, and vendor exhibits and presentations.

We’ve prided ourselves in fostering an environment where faculty can share their direct classroom experiences with other faculty.Where else can you learn first-hand from practicing educators about a host of topics related to educational technology, the internet, and student engagement? This grassroots approach really does help with advancing learning in Ontario.

This year, for the first time, Advancing Learning will be a fully online conference. No travel, lower costs, but a rich experience.

Our theme this year is Connecting and Learning NOW. We want to surpass the passive learning inherent in  more traditional online webinars and showcase active learning by faculty with experience in engaging their students online.

Join us for this unique online experience. We’ll have two keynote speakers, back-channel conversations, lots of technical support, and high quality active learning experiences just for you.
