The Advancing Learning Conference highlights best practices in technology-enabled learning and digital pedagogy in Ontario colleges. By attending this conference, you will learn strategies to enhance digital teaching and learning, and program quality, to support the 21st century student.

How does the Advancing Learning Conference support the expansion of skills, development of new teaching strategies and/or deepen the understanding of subject content?

When you attend the Advancing Learning Conference, you will learn and network with practicing educators in Ontario colleges. With an emphasis on lessons learned during the pandemic, conference sessions will examine how technology is currently impacting teaching and learning and explore ideas and trends that will shape the future of digital teaching. There will be a focus on the relevant themes of:

Does the Advancing Learning Conference provide the opportunity for practice, research and reflection?

Workshops at the Advancing Learning Conference will consist of hands-on activities that will enable you to experience and practice new skills. Session topics have been informed by research and practitioner reflection and may inspire your own scholarship of teaching and learning research.

The conference also will include networking opportunities where you can reflect upon and share your experiences and lessons with colleagues and learn from their triumphs and tribulations.
