As part of the profressional development approval process, my institution has asked me to provide information regarding what I will learn at the conference. What can I share to support my rationale to attend?

To assist with institution-based PD approvals, we have put together some information for you!

I did not receive a confirmation email. How do I know if the purchase went through?

If you did not receive a confirmation email after registering for the conference, please contact advancinglearning@durhamcollege.ca.

If I can no longer attend the conference, can I receive a refund?

All sales are final and refunds will not be issued. However, you may transfer your registration to another attendee. If you wish to transfer your conference ticket, please contact advancinglearning@durhamcollege.ca by May 5, 2023.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No, parking will be included with your conference ticket. Additional details will be shared closer to the event.

I would prefer overnight accommodations off-campus. Are there hotels in the area?

If you prefer, you may choose to stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Downtown Oshawa, which is about a 10 minute drive south of DC's Oshawa campus. Please note: Shuttle service is not available if you are choosing off-campus accommodations.

Durham College has a special rate avaialble for those looking to stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Downtown Oshawa!
The DC rate is $134 + HST / night and includes breakfast and parking.
